| Japan visit of Grand Duke Henri and Princess Alexandra continues. On the second day of the visit, the Grand Duke Henri and Princess Alexandra of Luxembourg together with Japanese Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko visited the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency’s (JAXA) Tsukuba Space Center in Ibaraki Prefecture. (JAXA - Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency - Japan’s version of NASA). Tsukuba Science City was developed in the 1970s and 1980s to stimulate scientific discovery. |

アンリ大公とアレクサンドラ王女の日本公式訪問が続いている。訪問２日目、ルクセンブルクのアンリ大公とアレクサンドラ王女は日本の明仁天皇と美智子皇后と共に茨城県つくば市にあるつくば宇宙航空研究開発機構JAXA・つくば宇宙センターを訪れた。つくば科学市のNASAの日本版であるJAXA宇宙航空研究開発機構は科学を活気づけるために１９７０年代と１９８０年代に開発された。
